The feedback below is from the cooking class that ran on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th October 2011.
I have not edited any of it, as I thought it would be useful to read all of it, should you be interested in taking one of these 2 day courses:
Dear Sandy,
What was the most useful thing you learnt and/or part of the course?
What was the least useful part of the course?
What did you think of the dishes we cooked – did you think they were the correct type of dishes to cover, or would you liked to have looked at different ones – did they go down well with others who ate them?
Would you have preferred to follow recipes while we were cooking and if so why?
Can yo think of any points which would help future classes be better (thinking of methods of teaching / time of courses etc…)
Book club Christmas dinner

Lunch, Friday 18th November 2011
Hi Sandy,
Everyone greatly enjoyed the lunch and they commend you on your culinary expertise!
It was everything I hoped for so thank you very very much indeed.
Robert thoroughly relished the treat you sent for him and is spreading it over two meals. After hours marking scripts on line it was good for him to be spoiled too.
Much love from

October dining club
We knew we were in for a treat when we booked ourselves into Sandy’s dining club last Thursday. Sandy’s cooking never disappoints. Surrounded by interesting objects on the shelves that once stocked coffee, olive oil and various other staples found in a food lovers larder, we enjoyed a delicious three course meal. We particularly enjoyed the Belly Pork with it’s subtle flavours of fennel and spices followed by a pear and ginger sponge so light it melted in the mouth. Although it was a little daunting arriving for a meal with eight other guests, many of whom we didn’t know or know well, by the end of the evening we were all laughing at shared jokes. A thoroughly enjoyable evening masterfully hosted by Sandy – we will be coming back.
